  1. Off-Season mode

    • Got the job? Flip Today to “I'm settled” and it becomes a wins journal. Pocket wins, praise and things you've learned as they happen.
    • A gentle nudge every three months to note what's gone well.
    • Add your annual review date and we'll email your year two weeks before. Copy my year puts it all on your clipboard, ready for a review form or CV update.
    • Flip back to “I'm looking” any time and your board is front and centre again.

  2. Sector packs

    • New sector packs for the Civil Service, the NHS, teaching, the police, law firms and grant writing. Switch one on and its framework's themes join your tags, so the Bank matches their questions too.
    • The Bank spots when a pasted question looks like it's from one of these sectors, and offers the pack.
    • Six new guides: Civil Service behaviour statements, NHS supporting information, teaching personal statements, police CVF examples, training contracts and grant applications.
    • Five new everyday themes to tag answers with: Technical skills, Decision-making, Analytical thinking, Learning quickly and Helping others.
    • Interview rates now show as counts until an answer has been on five applications, so one lucky interview doesn't read as 100%.

  3. A fuller Today, and reminders your way

    • Today now shows your week (with a weekly goal and streak), a snapshot of your board, a nudge to send a thank-you after interviews, and one useful thing to do on a quiet day.
    • Interview briefings: the day before an interview, an email with the CV, portfolio and answers you sent them.
    • Pick which days before a deadline you get reminders.
    • Offer deadlines, “applied before” warnings, and a board that tidies away applications with no reply in three weeks.
    • Import a doc full of old answers in one go, and download everything in your pocket any time.
    • A wider layout on big screens, and prices in your own currency.

  4. Onboarding, stages and the Vault

    • A simpler, guided set-up, and a tour of the app under Help.
    • Add, rename and delete stages on your board, and drag cards top to bottom as well as left to right.
    • Upload CVs and portfolios to the Vault, pair them up and keep links to your work.
    • Link more than one answer to an application.

  5. Backpocket launches

    • The board, the Answer Bank, the Story Library, Trim mode and Hunt Buddies, with 14 days of Pro for everyone who signs up.
